The Technical Support department is based in Amsterdam, which is an international focused Shared Service Center.​ Within this team, we are looking for a French and Spanish speaking Technical Support Specialist who provides excellent technical customer care to our clients in France and Spain.​
 
Tasks & responsibilities

 

Ø  Perform first tier support for repair of SonoSite products which relates directly to customer satisfaction and indirectly to future sales;
Ø  Provide telephone support for specific customers within the ERAF region and EMEA distributors;
Ø  Prepare detailed reports for each service request using SonoSite’s data management system (Oracle);
Ø  Represent SonoSite in a professional manner to sustain a positivecustomer relationship;
Ø  Provide support to demonstration, education and marketing equipment;
Ø  Assume responsibilityfor the tools, test equipment and other equipment provided by SonoSite to accomplish servicing of our products;
Ø  Provide professional services and technical training to customers;
Ø  Must make real time judgement decisions to resolve customer problems under pressure situations;
Ø  Responsibility to the team for achieving optimum product performance;
Ø  Perform other specific or general tasks as required and/​or possibly work outside normal working hours when required.​
 
 
Minimum requirements:
 
Knowledge/​Experience:
 
Ø  A minimum of 4 years of technical support experience, preferably in an international setting;
Ø  Fluent in French, Spanish and English;
Ø  Having experience with electro mechanical devices is a plus;
Ø  Having a sound electronic and electro-mechanical aptitude coupled with the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment when needed;
Ø  Having a sound knowledge of computers and applications, including MS Office and preferably Oracle.​
Ø  Lives in the Amsterdam area.​

Ø  Ability to be pro-active and have decision making skills;
Ø  Must be able to perform service under pressure while maintaining a positive and professional manner;
Ø  Capable of working with a minimum of supervision and be able to objectively evaluate when assistance is required.​
