Doctorate/master

I have participated in three doctorate programs: New Perspectives in Microelectronics and Computers Technology, Digital Processing of Images and Speech, and Multimedia Systems. In this context, I have taught the subjects entitled Management and Control of Computer Networks, Speech Coding, Voice-Activated Applications, Secure Technologies in Multimedia Systems and Mobile Multimedia.

At this moment I am leading and teaching in the Master in Cybersecurity of the University of Granada. Two are the subjects that I am teaching here:

  1. Cybersecurity Management, with contents: Fundamentals of cybersecurity, security policies and certification, risk analysis, changes control, emergency situations and business continuity, standards (ISO/IEC 27001, ENS RD 3/2010, RLOPD RD 1720/07).
  2. Secure Communications, with contents: Security in the link layer (wired and wireless networks), security in the network layer, security in the transport layer, security in the application layer (SSH, secure email, secure VoIP, DNSsec).

In this context, I have directed 3 DEAs and 5 end of master projects on: intrusion detection (2002), intrusion response (2006), h-NIDS integration (2008), anomaly detection in financial environments (2009), anomaly detection based on web traffic features (2010), automatic signature generation for HTTP services (2010), performance of multimedia services in mobile IP environments (2010), securizing streaming services (2011) and an Android application for sharing multimedia files (2012).
