Short notes

My teaching work at the UGR started in 1990, at the section of the Dpt. of Electronics and Computers Technology in Almería (nowadays University of Almería). During this year I taught the following subjects:

  • Computers Architecture (3rd. course in "Computer Science").
  • Electromagnetism and Optics (2nd. course in "Chemistry").

In 1991 I moved to the same Dpt. in Granada (area of Electronics), where I taught subjects related with data transmission and networks in the degress of Computer Science, Electronic Engineering.

I was an Assistant Professor of the UGR from 1990 to 1999, and an Associate Professor since then. Firstly, in the area of Signal Theory and Communications, and after that in the area of Telematics Engineering.

Since the academic year 2004/2005 I am a professor of the Department of Signal Theory, Telematics and Communications (DTSTC; Faculty of Computer Science and Telecommunications Engineering), where I have been recently accredited as a Full Professor.

During the last years, I have taught several subjects (...click the link for a detailed view...):

  • Telematic Systems (4th. course in "Electronics Engineering").
  • Data Transmission and Computer Networks (5th. course in "Computer Science").
  • Input/Output Devices. Peripherals (5th. course in "Computer Science").

  • Data Transmission and Computer Networks I (4th. course in "Computer Science").
  • Data Transmission and Computer Networks II (4th. course in "Computer Science").
  • Dissertation Projects (5th. course in "Computer Science").
  • Networks (3th. course in "Computer Science", speciality of Management).
  • Communication Networks (3th. course in "Telecommunications Engineering").
